Van Gogh? I think so!

Brooke doing some spelling. I guess she can be the new Van Gogh or winning spelling bees. We are not picky. :)

Thoughts of a Mom:

Yesterday was a busy day. Abby had an appointment early in the morning so we were out the door dropping Brooke off to play with Matthew next door by 9:00. This may not seem THAT early but getting two kids and a mommy clean and dressed and gone on time it was busy. After the appointment we had our wonderful playgroup at our house at 10:00, the kids had a good time and the mom's got in some good girl talk in. At 12:00 playgroup was done, the hungry kids always break up the taking moms, now it was time for lunch. I got Brooke lunch and down for her nap. Abby at this point had enough. So far in the day she was such a good baby. She was hauled around early in the morning. She was sleeping when we took all her clothes off to be weighed. She got passed around at playgroup while her sister had to be put in time out TWICE for pushing other kids. Then had to listen to a bunch of women make noise in her house. She was trying to eat and sleep but was interrupted by mom getting up and moving her around. Then while her mom was getting her sister lunch and not her she got upset. After I put Brooke to bed I came down to make Abby's bottle and I heard a sad cry. I went over to her and she had on the cutest pouting face and just started to cry. Large tears ran down her face right away and it was like she was telling me she had enough. I picked her up and held her close as she ate. It was so touching to see her needs come out. Early on you know they need to be fed and changed but it was nice to see she just needed her mommy to hold her. It made me feel loved and important and like it matters to have me there for her every day. It made living on one income worth it for that day.

Thanks for the great messages! Tell Brooke she can spell really well - she takes after her cousin Corinne!! Glad she is enjoying the easel.
You have beautiful children - can't wait to see you all soon...
Love to all
