We have been in Washington three weeks now and I at least need to update everyone.
We are all moved in and finding out way around the tri-cities. I found a Asian Food Market this morning without using my GPS! I was proud of myself.
Things I like so far:
Our neighbors and church is great. Very welcoming.
The girls started swim lessons and they are going well
There are stores!! Lots of them!!
Our house has a good amount of space and a great backyard.
I have a little garden. I had forgotten how much I love having my hands in the dirt.
The farmers market in Richland is the perfect size.
Things I can live without:
Its hot! Not like Arizona hot but for a girl who has lived in cold states all her life....its hot here!
No Bryan. Bryan is tagging fish in Idaho and has only been home a few days since the move. We miss him and it doesn't feel like home without him.He should be back the second week of July.
Our water smells like surfer. I guess its normal for this area in the summer but man it's not my favorite!
We miss our family and friends!
So far the girls have adjusted well. They miss their Dad. That is hard on them. Lets be honest that is hard on all of us.
We spent a few days with Bryan in Idaho and had a blast. We went horseback riding, has a camp fire, hiked to a natural hot spring, and swam a lot at the hotel.
Here are some pictures from that trip:
This is the little A-frame cabin that Bryan has called home for the last month.
The girls love a good cookout
Abby has been in love with horses since last thanksgiving when she got a toy horse from her grandparents and aunts. this phase has not worn off one bit. She loves horses. Bryan arranged a trail ride and Abby was so excited. It was just a hour ride because I knew it was going to be uncomfortable riding double. After about 30 minuets Abby was done but she had fun for the first half. She nicknamed her horse "Snow White".
Brooke had a good time too. She thought it was really funny when her horse would trot.
This is a hot spring we hiked too. It was really cool to see. It was a big hot tub in the middle of the woods. And it was really hot. We even got rained on but it was still fun.

Looks like you guys have had a blast. Enjoy the Tri-Cities! The boat races are coming at the end of July, and they're pretty cool to watch.
We miss you guys, looks like you are having fun though. I do believe Bryan is in heaven, wouldn't you say?! haha
I'm glad things are going well in there in Washington. Can't wait to hear more about your adventures!
